I loved this class !!! Mrs. And Mr. brown were very welcoming ! Very chill, very calm, and he answered all questions when we had them in class . Great TEACHER !!!

Just finished my CNA course here and I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place. The instructors actually care, the hands-on practice is real, and they break everything down in a way that makes you feel confident instead of overwhelmed. The environment was supportive, organized, and way more engaging than I expected. If you’re thinking about starting your CNA journey, this is the place. I walked in nervous and walked out certified and proud.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Mr. and Mrs. Brown at First Step STNA. From the very first day of class they made me feel welcome, supported, and encouraged. They truly care about each and every one of their students, and it shows in the way they teach and the way they treat you as a person. No matter what time of day it was, they were always there to answer questions, give guidance, or just reassure you when you needed it. They go above and beyond, not just to make sure you pass the class, but to make sure you *understand* and feel confident going into your career. The way they teach makes learning enjoyable and motivating — you actually want to come back to class because of the environment they create. They are patient, kind, and will push you to be your very best. I feel extremely grateful to have learned under them, and I know I’ll carry their lessons with me far beyond this program. If you’re thinking about starting your STNA journey, I would 100% recommend First Step to anyone. You won’t just gain knowledge here, you’ll gain mentors who genuinely care about your success.

Loved my experience with Mr & Mrs. Brown as a teacher! I would definitely recommend this class!!

I'm a skeptic when it comes to "we're one big family" but at First Step, it actually feels that way. The material is well-taught and just as importantly, they teach life lessons including empathy and compassion. One of my classmates had a baby that wasn't feeling great - not contagiously ill but not well enough for daycare. Baby made a great addition to class for the day. Mom didn't have to miss a day of class, I got to make a new buddy and the instructor taught right along side the whimpers with zero complaints. You don't get that everywhere!

I just want to say Mr. And Mrs. Brown are the sweetest most kindest people I have ever met in my life. Their schooling and ways of teaching make you WANT to come back. If I could take them with me through nursing school i would. I will be recommending this school to EVERYONE i know!

Mr Brown is a wonderful intuitive instructor. He brings textbook skills knowledge and many years of experience in the field including but not limited to Administration. Wisely interwoven with his faith are his many years of experience, Mr.Brown is military when needs to be and a father to his students while they take The First Step.

This school is definitely advanced in the things they have to offer. This class teaches you in more than one way and reaches all of its students needs. They are very involved, family oriented, and even offer transportation!! This school doesn’t feel like a school but feels like a family and I would 10/10 come back here everytime!

I want to start off by saying Mr.Brown is a wonderful teacher and will make sure that you feel prepared for the test and for a worksite. Also I want to say that’s he’s more than just a teacher he’s a friend as well, he gives great advice and he listens to you. I highly recommend FirstStep STNA program! Such a wonderful program and it’s also very fun. I loved going to school there he made me feel apart of his family and I loved the fact that he would always pray before the class began and also for his students. Such a great school!

Learning here at first step is an amazing place to learn and grow in the Healthcare field. The program is well-structured and Mr Brown is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Mr brown is a truly good man who genuinely cares about the success of his students. I feel fully prepared to excel as a LPN. Highly recommend this center to anyone pursuing a career in Healthcare.

I’m so thankful for Mr. & Mrs. Brown. Their patience is what helped me the most since I get distracted easily due to my ADHD. They made sure I had everything I needed and that I learned everything at a paste that I was comfortable with. After I passed my test they still kept in contact with me to ensure that I got a job in the field. I love that they showed how much they cared and it wasn’t about the money. They’re truly a family and are so open to being Mother and Father figures to all their students. I always recommend them and will continue to. May God bless them!

Mr.Brown picked up from school everyday I didn’t have to worry about anything and the class was so entertaining and educational and I felt as though everyone was there for me to achieve my goals

I’ve taken many classes before and once in a while you might have a teacher that makes a difference or that you can’t/ won’t forget! Mr. Brown is that person. He uses multiple teaching techniques, as everyone may have a different learning style. He truly prepares you for the realities of working in the field as an STNA. This program is one of the best programs, Mr. BROWN, who is the owner will help you in anyway he can he will help you if you need help financially to get certain things to pay for the program, but he really helps you to succeed in what you are there to succeed in doing. It is just one of the best programs if you were out for your SNA license then come to first step!

Saber que tienes un instructor que te aprecia te quiere enseñar y que aprendas es magnífico nadie se queda atrás si tienes algún problema o inquietud el instructor busca la manera de ayudar y dar una solución . Me gusta que ofrecen transportación si la necesitas que oren por ti que se preocupen que entiendan tus preocupaciones que te impulsen y motiven a ser la mejor versión de ti es algo increíble saber que tienes todo eso hay sabiendo que muchos lugares no hay profesores que tengan alguna preocupación por ti . I’ll never be able to say enough good things about this program and the people who run it. Never in my life have I had so much confidence instilled in me, nor have I learned so effectively before. Everyone likes to say “we’re a family here” but in First Step it’s truly meant and felt. As far as the STNA course goes, Mr. Brown is a fantastic teacher, and he will make sure you have rides to class and food to eat if needed. I’ve been telling everyone, don’t think about it just do it! Easily one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life thus far

This is a nice class the group are reasonable size you learn in the books and hands on everyone becomes a family within these classes and prayers alway work so I’m excited that we do prayers before the classes any start
